If you are into the Major Lazer side of sound. These are essentials. 4 tunes after the jump
Great acoustic version of Rudimentals uberhit “Waiting All Night” found at the end of this post. Covering herself just proves how good a vocalist she really is. You may have heard her before on Bastille’s “No Angels” track which is actually a remake of TLC. I said it before and i’ll say it again. People are killing it these days with the TLC/Janet/DC covers, remixes and interpolations. Anyways expect great things to happen to Ella in the near future. Great cover. PS where is the DL?
Ella Eyre – Waiting All Night (Acoustic)

Still waiting for the Rudimental Album and “Waiting All Night”is still on top of my list. Really infectious drum and bass vibe and all the other tunes in this album sampler are true teasers. Give them a listen.
Had to re re do that 2011 yum yum version and guess that’s what train rides are for. Sounds alright and went down very well on a few YUM YUM test sites :) That Drum & Bass flavour is a great contrast to everything being 70 bpm all the time these days. Always liked that double time swing especially when paired with…
Great and absolutely over due remix of one of the best tunes of the 90ies uk db scene. this was a world hit on dancefloors all over and the edit stays true to the original, adding the moombah flavour w/o estranging people with unneccessary moombacore sounds. circles is back on the floors. big up adam f once again for this work of genius and for the best use of bob james’ most prominent sample.

the tune is taken from the “Jon Kwest Presents LIGHTER Moombahton Vs Jungle (Part 1 & Part 2)” compilation. A few very decent reworks of 90ies db classics, only thing bothering me (and everyone else playing these tunes) is that annoying joni kwest vocal snippet on the beginning of each and every track. Reminds me of dj premiers 90ies tapes. “pppp…premier..mier…” anyone? Other than that a very solid production by JKwest and thanks for that buddy. I know all our Djs here & a lot of the kids are already playing most of these tunes & a JKs tunes in general, just wanted to highlight the adam f edit. great rework and much appreciated piece of music for the floors. Follow Jon Kwest on Soundcloud for tons more of his reworks & productions
